Love Clinic & Med Spa is a primary care practice in greater Wichita, KS area. Love Clinic & Med Spa provides medical treatment in an office, virtually or by traveling to your home or office. Love Clinic & Med Spa is staffed by nurse practitioners. An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a registered nurse with advanced academic and clinical preparation. APRN's are able to access, diagnose, treat and manage acute & chronic medical conditions. We will provide routine health care & maintenance, as well as fill your prescriptions. At Love Clinic & Med Spa, we function as your primary care provider (PCP) or we can provide urgent care. We will also coordinate care with your specialist, if you choose.
ABOUT OUR PROVIDER
Dr. Chela Love, DNP had a dream of being in the healthcare industry as a child. Chela accomplished this goal and is a Doctoral prepared Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP) that provides primary care to individuals 0-100 years old. She has enjoyed being a primary care provider for over 10 years.
Chela's goal is to see her patients healthy while taking minimal medications to maintain health through lifestyle modifications. Chela accomplishes this by giving each individual a tailored medical experience and spending time to educate her patients.
Chela received her Bachelors of Science from Wichita State University and her Masters of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University of St. Louis. Chela feels that being a medical provider is a ministry and loves serving those in need.
Chela is an entrepreneur at heart and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. She saw a need and filled it by establishing Nomad Medical, now known as Love Clinic & Med Spa, a Direct Patient care clinic in the Northeast community in Wichita, KS. Chela’s passion is to give her patients access to excellent medical care and treatment.
Chela is a native of Wichita, KS and enjoys spending time with her husband Lamont, her children Kamau, Kingston and Lennox, serving at her church and traveling the world.

No. Perhaps the most critical distinction in our model of care centers on a direct, personal relationship between you and your provider. That directness carries over to our business model as well. While the tender mercies of an insurance company might apply to the fixing of a damaged fender on your automobile, we see no reason for any insurer to have a voice about either the quality or the cost of your family’s care.
We forego insurance payments in order to save our patients from the arbitrary, intrusive decisions that inevitably follow with third-party payors. Furthermore, this direct fee-for-services arrangement frees us from the typical contractual agreements that prevent providers from offering wholesale prices on laboratory tests, imaging, and medications.

We recommend our patients continue a major medical plan with a high deductible and health savings account to ensure financial help should hospitalization or referral to a specialist be necessary. “What happens if I need to go to the hospital or see a specialist?”
In providing superb care with unprecedented sorts of access, we seek to prevent or reduce hospitalizations and specialty referrals. In instances where those types of care are required, we will certainly continue to work with your hospitalist during your hospital stay as well as work closely with any specialist. In some cases, depending on the level of care and the sorts of expertise required, we may rely on those specialized caregivers to manage your treatment.
“Can children become members of Nomad Medical?”
Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting children under 18.
“Can I contact my provider after hours? And how?”
By all means, yes! Because illness and injury do not respect regular office hours, you may call your provider any day, at any hour. If you prefer, you may also use our secure patient portal to access your medical record and then e-mail your provider. It’s how we do custom healthcare.
